Message but I am confident that the current spring design is doing the job as intended. So to get a jump on production, I'm placing an order for the springs to be manufactured. If for any reason between now and May a test car develops noise issues, then my gamble will be my loss and testing will start all over again. I don't see it as a gamble though, all the engineering is sound and the numbers all add up to the current springs being sufficient for installed valve spring pressures of up to 90 lbs.

The rate of attrition for the test vehicles has been disappointing to say the least. Out of five initial test vehicles here's the current tally:

1) 2500 miles as of 2/9/08 - down for ring and pinion swap.
2) 2900 miles as of 2/7/08 - engine out for unrelated issue.
3) 4000 miles as of 3/3/08 - still testing
4) 1500 miles as of 1/10/08 - engine out for unrelated issue.
5) ?? miles as of today - M.I.A., never got a single response, thank you

I picked up three more test cars around the beginning of the year because the earlier ones seemed to be faltering:

6) 560 miles as of 2/26/08 - still testing
7) 0 miles as of today - still to be installed.
8) 0 miles as of today - unrelated engine issues.

Suffice it to say, Spring is coming and I'm betting I will get no less than three test cars passing the 5000 noise-free mile mark by May.

I do appreciate all of the participants time and effort in testing these parts. If any of you have a mileage update to report please send it to me.
